Beef Yakitori

Serving Size 5 skewers • Preparation Time 1hour 15minutes • Cooking Time 15minutes

Ingredients: Beef Ribs 600g, Some Leeks, 5 x bamboo Skewers, Some Roasted White Sesame

Marinade: Amoy Japanese Style Teriyaki Sauce 5 tbsp

Method (Oven & BBQ)

  1. Cut beef ribs into 3x3 cm cubes. Cut leeks into similar size.
  2. Marinate beef ribs for one hour. Thread the beef onto the bamboo skewers alternating with the leek.
  3.  Keep the remaining marinade for later use.

(Oven)(Preheat oven to 200 C. Place the beef skewers in the oven and bake for 6 minutes. Take out the beef skewers and brush with the remaining marinade. Flip beef skewers to the other side and continue to bake for 3 minutes. Repeat to coat the beef skewers with the marinade. Flip beef skewers to the other side and continue to bake for 2 minutes. Sprinkle roasted white sesame on top. Ready to serve.
(BBQ)( Grill the beef skewers in a hot grill for 10 minutes. After 3 minutes,
brush the beef skewers with the remaining marinade. After 2 minutes, brush
the beef skewers with the marinade again. Sprinkle roasted white sesame
on top. Ready to serve.
